Love is like a butterfly, hold it too tight, it'll crush, hold it too loose, it'll fly

First day of CNY is upon us all.
I bet you collection of ang pows is more than mine. Haha.

This year saw a change in the routine of visiting relatives.
Usually I go visit my mum’s mum (ala wai puo) first. But since Daddy had to work early morning, TKM + Kor + me went to visit Grandma, Auntie Irene, Third Grand Aunt and Grandpa. In that order.

Grandma was very happy to see us and her memory was in good shape today, nice start to the New Year don u think?
Auntie Irene’s health is better and God is using her to do marvelous things for His kingdom. Her testimony is truly ‘wow’. God has anointed her and I believe she shall do even more ‘hwah’ things for His children. :) It was wonderful to see her and Auntie Iris after such a long time. Auntie Iris has slimmed down a lot since the last time I saw her. Oh her cooking is gooood~ Ate my first lunch at their house.

Second lunch took place at Third Grand Aunt’s (aka Sa Lau Sim aka SLS) place. Curry*Mmmmm* + Pig stomach soup*sluuuuurp* = FULL and very satisfied.
She is one hack of a chief. If only I could cook like her, I would be able to start my own restaurant. Buah hahaha…
The visit to Grandpa was brisk, din really get the opportunity to talk long long to him coz there was a huge traffic jam in All Saints’ Home and we had to rush home to pick up our parents to go to our final location for the day. It’s nice to know that I can still talk to Grandpa when I am at home, or anywhere else for that matter :)

My third and final lunch took place at my Wai Puo’s house. We dropped off TKM at the house and Mum + Dad jumped aboard for the ride to Marine Parade. Most of my cousins went to visit my WP in the morning and we reached in the early afternoon, so most of them were gone by the time we got to our destination. Oh well~ Every year, my family goes over to eat lunch, so this year was no different. By the time my brother and I were finished with our *buuuuurp* (excuse me -.-’’’) lunch, we could hardly move. I can’t believe we still managed to eat some of the CNY goodies at the house! Kor kor really loves ba po (ala ba kua ala sliced BBQ pork), he eat until I thought that he was going to finish the whole box. Heh~
What does one do when one is totally stuffed and not ready to go home? Sit around and chat of course! So that is just what my family did for the next few hours before it was time to haul our butts back home. XP

Auntie Kiuo and family were visiting at our home when we got back. So sat we our butts down and talked with them. :) Jeslyn has grown very tall and she will definitely be taller than me in time to come. After all, she is only 16 this year. Still got another 2-4 odd years before she stops the skyward growth.
Shout out to Jeslyn:
STOP GROWING UPWARDS!!!!!

Caryn’s family just left. We sure had a good time laughing at the carious jokes and programmes that were on the tube…heh

Tomorrow is going to be a blast…got to go now~
